gorillaz without art is like life without a soul. it’s still there but it’s so plain and losts the point. all the posts would be like: XY great song! YX great song! and i miss the art, of course.

the fuck is this stuff with the dead of murdoc? XD i can’t find any reliable sources about it. even if it’ll be confirmed try to stop crying. come on, noodle “died” for years but returned. the universe of gorillaz is parallel universe where weird things can happen. and if “jamie will feel like drawing the characters again years later” then he’ll put murdoc in the upcoming stories too. it’s just so pointless to kill the head of the band without the knowing if they want to continue or not. i think this whole murdoc is dead stuff came from what damon said. he said that he’ll continue it without murdoc, BUT if jamie returns the whole fictional character story can go on. so try to be calm. it’s a pity that the whole fandom cries when something happens. wait till we get sure before thinking of the worst things. :)

On the future of Gorillaz: “It’s strange to talk about a beginning and an end for that, because it was very much Jamie [Hewlett] did the visuals and I did the music. The music won’t change, so there could be another Gorillaz record tomorrow. It wouldn’t necessarily have Murdoch — the cartoon aspect to it — but musically, no, nothing’s changed whatsoever. But Jamie wants to do other things and I understand. But you never know, in a few years he might have a burning desire to draw those pictures again, and as soon as he does that, as far as I’m concerned, there could be another Gorillaz album.

I’m all for more music, but it just isn’t Gorillaz without the Murdoc aspect.
